In the first part, we saw that Daniel and his companions were kidnapped by the Babylonians and wanted to reprogram their identity. Daniel was allowed many things (dress, culture, learning), but when it came to eating the king's food, he objected because it was contrary to the Word, the Word of God. God's will was more important to him than submitting to the Babylonians.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3a0f4fd e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3a0f4fd\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-15cf7ec elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"15cf7ec\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We have talked about how we are like Daniel in that we too live in an \"alien\" world (this world is not our real home), and there are some things we cannot give in to the influence and seduction of the world. It is Jesus' will that we radically commit ourselves to him and be different from the world. One of the goals of this series is for you to grow in your faith and increase your commitment to God. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GROW! It's everyone's choice, but it's better to grow up than to remain a child in the faith all your life. Let's see what we can learn from Daniel today about this!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f60bf0f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f60bf0f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9773dd0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9773dd0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Daniel 1:8-21<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-40c9e3f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"40c9e3f\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff640f6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ff640f6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Daniel WAS DIFFERENT from the other young people because he RADICALLY COMMITTED HIMSELF TO GOD. he did not compromise with sin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c3c6d84 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c3c6d84\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9873ea7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9873ea7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This engagement has not just started. It seems from the text that Daniel somehow knew exactly what had to be done. He had an established STABLE MIND based on the Word of God. STABLE means that he was not swayed, not blown away by every wind, not shaken by the world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-babfbce e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"babfbce\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1a7cba6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1a7cba6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It takes time to develop a set of values. Daniel probably committed himself to the Lord at some point as a young child and began to study God's Word. He read the Bible, listened to sermons online, talked to others about the Word, and became so familiar with the Word that he developed a set of values. So when he got into a tight spot, he wasn't sucked in by the world.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e795e4 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"2e795e4\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b6ddf5d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b6ddf5d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">K\u00e9szen \u00e1llsz, hogy stabil \u00e9rt\u00e9krendet \u00e9p\u00edts a hitben?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-555ade8 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"555ade8\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ec28d03 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ec28d03\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>This is a great lesson for us too. If you do NOT have a STABLE MIND, you do not know what God's will is, and you are easily influenced by the world. It takes time to develop a value system. Start to seriously study and know the Scriptures so you know what is right. When we are in a decision situation, many times we don't have time to study the Bible, but we need to already know what we should do. Daniel didn't have much time either. When he learned what the food was, he had to act almost immediately.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4d3afba e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"4d3afba\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7e7f75b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7e7f75b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When Daniel recognized that the king's command was contrary to his values (the Word), he \"resolved\" not to defile himself with it. The word \"resolved\" in Hebrew means \"put it into his heart.\" Very apt: Daniel put it in his heart that he would not sin against the Lord.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c62fd4b e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c62fd4b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a1dad36 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a1dad36\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote><p>\u201eKeep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.\u201d\n\u202d\u202dProverbs\u202c \u202d4\u202c:\u202d23\u202c \u202dESV\u202c\u202c<\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00b6a5c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"00b6a5c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-abf3d1c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"abf3d1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Mi t\u00f6rt\u00e9nik, ha a vil\u00e1g ir\u00e1ny\u00edtani akarja a sz\u00edvedet?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c28978b e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"c28978b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-abafddf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"abafddf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our biggest problem is not external but internal.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a0c651 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"4a0c651\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a5011dd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a5011dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote><p>\u201eFor out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.\u201d\u201d\n\u202d\u202dMatthew\u202c \u202d15\u202c:\u202d19\u202c-\u202d20\u202c \u202dESV\u202c\u202c<\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f6595e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3f6595e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e70e2cb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e70e2cb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When we repent and are born again, we receive a new heart, a heart of flesh that is sensitive to the things of God, and the law of God is in our hearts. This means that being born again is not just a repair of man's corrupt nature, corrupt heart, but a WHOLE NEW HEART, a totally new nature. It is when one's innermost desires are completely changed, because one now desires to live a life pleasing to God. When we are born again, this new heart is PERFECTLY BLESSED. But as time goes on, the temptations of the world, our own sinful desires, and the temptations of Satan can cause our hearts to become defiled. That's why what we watch on TV or television is particularly important. Teenagers today often watch horror films. I am not saying that this is necessarily a sin, but what are we letting into our hearts? What we watch, what we listen to, it is very important to be careful.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c38d1e e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3c38d1e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8b50388 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8b50388\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>We concentrate on thoughts and external influences that promote love, kindness and compassion, e.g. Bible reading, when the Word travels the 20 cm from our head to our heart.
